Statement from the Department of Health and Children - SARS

Preliminary reports have been received by the Department of Health and Children that a patient with symptoms similar to SARS has been admitted to a Dublin Hospital and is currently undergoing investigation.
In order to protect patient confidentiality and as re-stated publicly this week, the policy of the Department of Health and Children is not to release any patient details relating to gender, race, age, country of origin or location.
