Press and Communications Office

Responsibilities

The Press and Communications Office of the Department of Health liaises with all media on behalf of the Minister, Ministers of State and the Department and leads on improving communications with colleagues in the Department as well as health sector stakeholders.

The Office is leading on the redevelopment of the Department’s website. Currently, the Office maintains www.healthupdate.gov.ie These are dedicated pages presented by the Office and our aim is to facilitate customers with access to information on health topics which may be of current interest
