Press and Communications Office
Responsibilities
- Informing the media about developments in Irish health policy.
- Liaising with the media on behalf of the Minister, Ministers of State and the Department.
- Coordinating media engagements, interviews, launches and briefings.
The Communications Unit incorporates the Press Office but will also lead on improving our engagement with all stakeholders and on improving our internal communications.
The Press Office liaises with the media on behalf of the Minister, Ministers of State and the Department. The Press Office also works with sections to plan for upcoming launches, events and emerging issues and with sections to issue press releases and to provide timely responses to queries.
