The National Cancer Forum was an advisory body, established by the Minister for Health & Children to advise on the implementation of the National Cancer Strategy.

The Forum, which was chaired by Professor Paul Redmond (Head of Surgery, University College Cork & Cork University Hospital), was multidisciplinary and representative of all levels of service (both community and hospital based) and of the Health Service Executive. It also had consumer representation.
