Information
The Information Unit plays a key role in the management and application of health information and in the development of policy to support improved health information.
Responsibilities
- Provision of statistical and analytical capacity for the Department
- Publication and dissemination of health data.
- Implementing systems for collection, use and reporting of performance data.
- Provision of data to international bodies and contributing to health data developments at international level.
- Development of or contribute to the development (as appropriate) of health informatuion policy and leglslation
- Logistical supporting to relevant working groups
