Functions and Responsibilities
Co-ordinating and managing the Department’s statutory responsibilities under the Freedom of Information Acts and the Access to Information on the Environment (AIE) Regulations 2007.
Key objectives and strategies
- Assisting Business Units in meeting the Department’s statutory obligations under the Freedom of Information Acts (1997 and 2003) and the Access to Information on the Environment (AIE) Regulations 2007.
- Liaising with Department of Jobs, Enterprise and Innovation regarding reducing the administrative burden on business.
