The main switchboard for the Department is 01 6354000. You will need to dial +353 1 6354000 if ringing from outside Ireland.

The Department also uses direct dial inwards (DDI). Using DDI, you dial 635 followed by the extension to contact an extension directly.

Additionally, each member of staff in the Department has an email address of the form Firstname_Lastname@health.gov.ie. This email will always include an underscore ( _ ), and will include an apostrophe if appropriate (e.g. the surnames O'Connor, O'Reilly).

Hawkins House is located on the corner of Hawkins Street and Poolbeg Street, in the centre of Dublin.

Hawkins House is within easy reach of the DART (Tara Street Station) and Dublin Bus (any service which terminates in the city centre). We are also within easy walking distance of Busaras (Central Bus Station) and Connolly Train Station.
