Department of Health Access Officer

Under the Disability Act 2005, public bodies must appoint Access Officers.

Access Officers act as a point of contact for people with disabilities who want to access services provided by the public body. They provide assistance and guidance to people with disabilities or co-ordinate the provision of that assistance and guidance.
